ABOUT ME:

I am currently serving in the U.S. Army on active duty. I've been a Soldier for 12 years and love what I do. Growing up I wasn't a very active kid so joining the Military was a challenge. After a few years in I discovered 'the gym' and so my love for lifting heavy things began. Starting out I had no real goals, but I sure wanted those results I saw in the fitness magazines. Completely clueless to how much my nutrition had to do with it I slowly lost interest in it all and blamed the everyday life of not being able to make to the gym. In 2012 I was introduced to CrossFit and really enjoyed it's structure and everyday challenges. I have been a member of CrossFit SolaFide since moving to Tennessee back in 2013. It's been my second home and I couldn't be more grateful for it. November 2014 I returned from a deployment from Afghanistan and was approached by a great friend to compete with her in a Strongman Competition. After that first competition, I was addicted! I qualified in August for the North American Strongman Nationals and competed with some amazing athletes from all over the U.S. My goal is always have fun at these competitions, that's important to me. Im constantly learning new things about my nutrition and have goals I will obtain. I recently signed up for college at American Military University and will be studying for a Bachelors in Sports and Health Sciences with focus on exercise science and long term want my Masters in Nutrition.
