I played baseball growing up and into high school where I also played lacrosse and ran cross-country. After discovering CrossFit at age 17, I spent my first year cherry picking WODs, avoiding anything with a heavy barbell.

After high school I spent two years in Memphis at Faction Strength and Conditioning where I fell in love with Weightlifting. I qualified for my first University National Championships and Junior National Championships when I was 20, and have been lifting competitively ever since. 

Competing for my affiliate with my teammates is what drives me to train everyday. Weightlifting is my favorite aspect of CrossFit because of the dedication it takes to excel in it. My favorite aspect of coaching weightlifting is seeing my clients’ technique improve with time and hard work.
